The recent Pew polling report has had the unfortunate consequence of handing the right a talking point which they are pushing for all they are worth. Greg Sargent and others have been addressing this over the last few days. I’d like to recommend two posts at the Democratic Strategist as examples of smart analysis. The earlier (addressing Gerson’s column at the WP) is titled “The Most Polarizing Column” and the latest is titled “Bipartisanship and Successful Polarization”.
