“Obama is the most partisan president ever” talking point

The recent Pew polling report has had the unfortunate consequence of handing the right a talking point which they are pushing for all they are worth.  Greg Sargent and others have been addressing this over the last few days.  I’d like to recommend two posts at the Democratic Strategist as examples of smart analysis.  The earlier (addressing Gerson’s column at the WP) is titled “The Most Polarizing Column” and the latest is titled “Bipartisanship and Successful Polarization”.

They’re here

A note to readers

It looks like I’ll have to shift away from spending as much time at this endeavor as I had been doing. For those of you who’ve become somewhat dependent for your news and information from folks writing in this newish medium, all the links I’ve noted down on the right are highly worthy.

I should still be able to throw stuff in here each day but my available time for reading and research will be diminshed.
